Safe stay in Croatia is a national designation of security protocols in tourism and hospitality.  At Hotel Luxe well-being of our guests and employees is of the utmost importance. Therefore, we are acting responsibly by closely monitoring the situation surrounding the coronavirus and by taking steps in line with the recommended procedures and protocols issued by the Croatian Institute of Public Health in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization.

Dear guests, 
Protecting your safety and health are our main priorities and therefore we have introduced additional precautions to make your stay at Hotel Luxe safe and comfortable:

  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures have been implemented in guest rooms, elevators, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Public Spaces: Our hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms and room keys.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces in public areas are carried out regularly, with appropriate products. This includes handrails, elevator floor buttons, counters, door and window handles, washroom taps, among others.
  • Ventilation procedures in public areas occur few times a day, ensuring indoor air quality.
  • All public toilets are equipped with antiseptic solutions for hand hygiene and disinfection
  • Public outdoor areas, adjacent to hotels, are disinfected at least once a week
  • Hand sanitizers are located at all entrances (entrance, reception, restaurant, wellness and toilets)    
  • Increased disinfection of all rooms and surfaces that are frequently touched (handles, handrails, switches ...)    
  • Use of protective gloves and masks by our staff during direct interaction with guests (In addition to requiring staff to wear masks and follow all trainings, posted instructions and guidelines provided by the company at all times, prior to each work day, staff will conduct a self-evaluation, review a checklist of symptoms and if any symptoms occur, will notify supervisor and will not come to work)
  • Limited number of persons in the reception area in accordance with the measures of physical distance of 1.5 m.    
  • Contactless payment if possible
  • Multi-use and unnecessary items and amenities are removed from guest rooms
  • Housekeeping service on request (At check-in, you will be offered the possibility of choosing the new “Do Not Enter My Room” option, which means that while all services remain available, our employees will not enter your room during your stay until you express a wish to have your room serviced or in case some security reasons.).
  • Room-service deliveries, luggage assistance, and other services will take place in front of your room.
  • Bed Linen & Towels: Our linen will be handled with extreme care to prevent raising dust and potential contamination; used linen will be washed at a high temperature for optimal disinfection.

Our hotel uses cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items. The cleaning of our rooms and suites and the sanitization of our beds provide the highest possible hygiene standards.

In order to respond to this pandemic as successfully and efficiently as possible and ensure the safety of your stay in our hotel at the highest possible level, we continuously follow the latest advice and recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) official website.
